MDRA Banquet

Come on guys...... Give some feedback!!

Good or Bad!!

I wasnt there but heard they started off with a lecture on tracks not making money cause of poor turnout from quads. Also people where dissopointed that they only got a trophy. the top 3 riders got nothing no jacket or even a shirt. What was your take on it Tim?

We didnt go either Tim. Was told awards only given out to top 5 positions in our class. We were the 1st looser (6th) From what I heard from a few people was what you heard Mike.  I dont think the riders in this series deserved this!  Turnought is not our problem. Dont they have promoters for that?  We were told this would be a good series for the young riders and the best part was supposed to be the end of year banquet, Right? Well, we wanna race, but now, I dont know where to go!  Would like to try the NEATV but that is a little more travel than I can do. Times are tighter than 2 yrs ago and I want to stay a little closer for now.  If we cant sell the 90 and dont have a 300 by spring, we wont be racing anyway. I want to keep Jesse's # so I will need to make a decision soon.  
Is D6 having the Ultimate Quad sched for 2012 out soon?  May do that only.  or just race at Breezewood all season.

I dont think there will be a d-6 quad series in 2012. We will run the mdra again, along with a few close to home nationals and neatv races.

Yea, seems we will also.  As long as we have a quad to race by then!

I didnt think it was very good compared to the D-6 banquet.
Im sure i will be trash mouthed for saying this.... But i believe in telling people the
way it is and to steer them in the best direction.
We will not be racing the MDRA series next year because of the banquet.
I was very dissapointed with the way they trash talked other tracks and other series!!
And then the coverage on the quads sucked all year!!   No pictures or point standings!!
I dont know if Rod just dont like quads or he had issues comunicating with MRA magazine
But the bikes had lots of pictures and point standings in every issue!!  Then we had a
2 month break in the middle of the series.   I am tired of supporting a seires that looks
at us as a joke and talks our quad series down in front of a room of people!!
We pay just as much to race as the bikes and to didnt miss one race all year!!
Rod seems to be a good guy and so does his whole family!!
But the quads got shafted on that series!!

I am not telling anyone to not race the MDRA.... I am just saying we will not be
racing that series.  And Yes we will be running Motorama.
We wont do very well.... But I promise we will have ALOT of fun!!!

Well Tim Im glad you didnt beat around the bush. The MDRA didnt tread the quads any different than the d6 did in regaurds to posting point standing. We will run the mdra next year along with some other races. We didnt get to run the whole series thing year due to Dale braking his leg at the first Duchman Race or none race. We will see ya at Motorama, not racing just to watch and cheer on some fellow riders.
